Melissa Klein

I am a mechanical engineer with a passion for mechanical design, manufacturing, and robotics, and am currently performing research in 3D printing at Stanford University. I graduated from Stanford with a MS in mechanical engineering (depth in robotics and product realization) and from MIT with a BS in mechanical engineering. Between my degrees, I worked as a mechanical design engineer at ASML for a year, designing components for semiconductor lithography machines. I have worked as an undergraduate research assistant in various MIT labs in the biomedical, robotics, and aerospace fields. Aside from engineering, I enjoy backpacking, traveling, photography, as well as composing and playing the piano and accordion.
